The sewage network construction project includes surveying and earthworks, as well as laying and installing sewer pipes and manholes. The implementation of this infrastructure project will allow wastewater to be discharged to a wastewater treatment plant in the village of Alaknice, which will reduce environmental pollution.
Local self-government will apply transparency and citizen participation as good governance principles during project implementation, and residents of these municipalities will be informed of their rights and obligations to use the new services. All good governance principles will be implemented in cooperation with the Swiss PRO Programme.
The Kingdom of Norway is investing 90,000 Euros in the implementation of this project, and the municipality of Surdulica is contributing 40,000 Euros.
