Improved Access to Employment

Support to businesses – The Project supports the business through provision of grants for procurement of equipment/services to 79 beneficiaries, through the Call for Proposals Support to Beginners in Business and to Development of Existing Businesses that was conducted from 21 May to 15 August 2019. The Results for this Call for Proposal are available at the link: Expected result is creating at least 70 new jobs in Serbia. Sustainability of the start-ups will be reinforced by the development and provision of a set of services, adapted to the specific needs of each client, which will include business coaching and mentoring, bookkeeping, legal services and other, as needed.

Vocational Trainings - Through a Call for Proposal, the Project will provide grants to local self-governments to implement vocational training programmes in line with the national and local employment action plans targeting disadvantaged groups, including youth up to 30 years of age, redundancy, older than 50, unemployed without any or with low qualifications, long-term unemployed, persons with disabilities, Roma, and social assistance beneficiaries. This will result in the employment of at least 100 people. Through a Public Call conducted in November and December 2018, funding in the value of 60,000 Euros was approved for six projects which will provide training to 102 beneficiaries and opening of 51 new jobs.
